New Year Shopping

Sharis Berries coupon codes is what my aunt needs to get by her New Year shopping dilemma. She's been on a budget and coupon codes will be of great help to hear.

Speaking of New Year shopping, I have yet to plan our New Years day meal. I am not really a cook, so I might just order in. My mother is not a cook either and I would like to give my father a well-deserved break. My family never really had a festive celebration of new year. We only have a simple meal and end our day with a prayer.

2012. Another year for us.

Happy Holidays

The Muppets singing any Christmas song will never fail to bring a holiday cheer to anyone. Too bad, YouTube only has limited videos from the show. There were some recordings I heard of Kermit and Ms. Piggy recorded Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Other casts also recorded Jingle Bells.

I found this video of John Denver singing 12 Days Of Christmas. The crooner is one of my father's favorite singers. And seeing him all jolly and smiley with the whole happy bunch of the The Muppets really is something. So start the holiday cheer and play the video. And maybe sing along too :)

Maligayang Pasko! :)

Holiday preparations

Christmas is my mom's thing. I have been celebrating Christmas with my family all my life and I always look forward to what my mother have come up with for Christmas. She likes fixing the house and making it very 'Christmas-y' by putting up decorations. From the tree, to the wreaths, to the scented candles; my mother would carefully plan how to put everything together as an equestrian would carefully choose equestrian helmets.

This year, everything changes. The turn of events last year had made my mother not to do the usual things she loves to do. Like reading, for example. And making sure the house is squeaky clean all the time. I am the one who's tasked to handle the preparations this year.

I started with going to the mall and buying things for the table set-up. I asked mom on how she wanted everything to be arranged. And the things she wanted to be on the table. The mall was packed with last-minute shoppers but I was able to get everything she wanted. Plus some more that I thought that would make her smile like a Jasmine-scented air freshener, new floor mats, and new place mats for the table.

The next goal is to clean the entire house and change the curtains. Tons of things to do. I am hoping I'll be able to pull it off, like how my mother wanted it.

Twitter's New Interface

I am one of those people you could call a 'heavy twitterer'. I tweet most of the time of any topics that comes to mind; from an undermount sink to the latest movies. Before, I used to post on Twitter using my computer, but that changed when I upgraded my phone and switched to a BlackBerry. Switching to a new phone and subscribing to the unlimited social media access plan with my provider gave me the freedom to post on Twitter anytime I want. I could even include pictures with my tweets! :)

I read about Twitter's user interface redesign last week. Reports said that the redesign was intended to cater organizations and companies on the site. The new Twitter interface was rolled out a couple of days ago.

The new Twitter interface.

I like it. It is cleaner than the old interface. It has a Facebook feel but not really. I haven't really explored what one can do to the latest interface, customization wise. I saw a couple of sample profile revamps and how can organizations can utilize the new interface. I'll try to tinker with it more and have another blog post about it.
